Working Principle

The Automatic VFFS Machine with Multi Head Weigher operates through a synchronized weighing and packaging process. Products are fed into the multi head weigher using a Z-type bucket elevator or vibratory feeding system. The product is distributed evenly into multiple weighing buckets where individual weights are continuously measured.

The intelligent combination weighing software selects the optimum combination of weighing buckets to achieve the target weight with maximum accuracy and minimum product giveaway. Once the correct combination is selected, the weighed product is discharged into the forming tube of the Vertical Form Fill Seal Machine.

Simultaneously, laminated packaging film is unwound from the roll and shaped into a tube through the forming collar. The longitudinal seal is created first, followed by the bottom seal of the pouch. The weighed product is discharged into the pouch, after which the horizontal sealing jaws create the top seal while forming the next pouch. The finished package is automatically cut and discharged for downstream handling.
